Anurag's entrepreneurial journey began in 2006, drawing on his extensive cross-market operational experience to build sustainable businesses. Noteworthy among these ventures include Sconce Solutions, a product lifecycle management company, Space Matrix Group, a workplace design company that has grown from $1M to $175M, and One Animation, an award-winning animation studio with global distribution across major platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Cartoon Network and Disney, earning 25 awards and 2 Emmy nominations.
He has also invested in early-stage companies globally, many of which achieved successful exits to large enterprises. These include Eloqua (acquired by Oracle for $1.2B), Encentuate (acquired by IBM), and HolidayIQ (acquired by Lastminute.com). As part of Accel Partners' investment committee in India, he contributed to successful investments in tech firms like Myntra, later acquired by Flipkart in a e-commerce consolidation in 2014.
Anurag is also dedicated to giving back, co-founding billionBricks, a non-profit innovation studio utilising design and technology to create housing solutions for the homeless. Their most notable and award-winning solutions are weatherHYDE, a life-saving emergency tent which protects the vulnerable from extreme weather, and powerHYDE, the world’s first carbon-positive residence for the homeless.
Anurag is a BTech Electrical Engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), one of the premier technical and research universities in India.
